Alpha Magus is a first-person exploration game with light puzzle elements. I worked on it with 5 other people over the course of a few weeks as part of Wizard Jam 10.
I created most of the environment art in the game. It was a fun challenge to create within the time limitations. I decided to go with a faceted approach and just use vertex colors to save time on unwrapping and texturing.
Even though time was limited I really wanted to get some motion in the scene so I created some vertex animated materials for the trees and water.
